  Nick Warren

  Founding Partner

  Nick has been selling properties all his working life, including over 16 years as an estate agent in Alton, and he has an intimate knowledge of the area and its complexities. Born in Alton, Nick has always been a Hampshire resident and was educated locally at Lord Wandsworth College and Eggar's Grammar School. With a busy career in Estate Agency, there isn't much time left for other pursuits. However, Nick still manages an encyclopaedic knowledge of Aldershot Town Football Club and an active interest in the countryside and maps. A Fellow of the National Association of Estate Agents, Nick is married with a daughter and a son.

  Polly Gillert

  Partner

  Polly has boundless enthusiasm and has proven herself to be an absolute natural at putting clients at their ease and really understanding their requirements. Educated in Midhurst, Polly has worked in both Selborne and Farringdon, so knows the Alton, Surrey and Hampshire area well. As the resident computer expert in our Alton estate agency, Polly is also capable of sorting out all the Partners technological problems, which is pretty important given that Clive, Nick and Tim still struggle to programme their video recorders. Do people still have video recorders?

  Partner and Head of Residential Lettings

  Richard has been in the property industry since 1988 and has gained a wealth of valuable knowledge in both sales and lettings over that time. Locally he has built an enviable reputation amongst letting agents in Alton for providing quality service, communication and client feedback. Richard is married to Joanna, who is obviously keen on keeping an eye on Richard and will be helping out in the office too! Joanna's family have lived in South Warnborough for over 30 years.

  Originally from Buckinghamshire Karen has lived in Alton for over 14 years. Super efficient she is the engine behind the Alton team keeping the wheels of industry running smoothly so allowing the sales team to ‘do their stuff’. Along with her husband she enjoys going to see live bands, especially Soul, Jazz and Funk. She also has a Goodwood Road Racing Membership and a keen appreciation of Formula 1 and classic sports cars. She also finds time to spend with her two grown up daughters who live in the town.

  Clare Knight

  Sales

  When we asked Clare for a few details for her 'meet the team' profile, she mentioned a busy life taken up with 2 teenage boys, 2 dogs and a husband. We couldn't help wondering if she'd listed them in order of preference. Another long-term Alton resident, Clare is new to Estate Agency following a long career in the print industry, but with her friendly manner and attention to detail, she has taken to it like a duck to water. Spare time is spent restoring furniture, gardening and, rather worryingly like several members of the WPR team, she admits to a fondness for a glass or two of wine.

  Joanna Santos

  Lettings Administration

  Joanna has lived in the area for a large part of her life, growing up in the grounds of Old Basing House, which is now open to the public. Playing in the ruined remains as a child led to her keen interest in archaeology and architecture. She studied at both Southampton and Farnham Universities, graduating with a BA (Hons) in 3D Design. Joanna has put this to great use during various renovation projects, including her current scheme of restoring a lake, which has been untouched for the last thirty years. In her spare time she also paints, plays the piano and has recently become an avid bird watcher.

  Clive Powell-Richards

  Partner

  Clive's first position in Estate Agency was back in 1975 as office junior and tea boy with a small local independent. 45 years later Clive has seen all the ups and downs of the local property market but according to his partners still makes an excellent cup of tea! Clive's obsession with Estate Agency is combined with obsessions for DIY and gardening, which seem to take up every spare available second. Clive shares his life with his wife and three children and that's not to mention a house full of dogs, cats, guinea pigs and numerous horses. Clive also wants it mentioned that he is a keen Arsenal fan.

  John McConkey

  Sales

  John was educated locally at Bohunt School in Liphook followed by Alton college and so knows the area like the back of his hand. When not busy in our WPR Alton office he thoroughly enjoys football and has played in various teams since the age of 6 and is a lifelong supporter of Brighton & Hove Albion where he is a season ticket holder. He also enjoys karting and Formula 1 and hopes to go to a Grand Prix in the coming years. The love of his life is his Cockapoo Bobby.
