"I set up Richard Watkinson & Partners is 1988 with just three staff in a small office in North Gate, Newark. "A lot has changed since then - we now have more than 30 members of staff, six offices across the East Midlands as well as dedicated lettings, new homes and commercial agents - but the core values I set out when I started the business have remained. "High levels of customer service, a friendly, personable approach to estate agency and excellent local knowledge are all paramount in delivering a professional and effective service. These are the values upon which I built Richard Watkinson & Partners and I'm proud that these are always at the forefront of our agents' minds when dealing with customers. Alistair has been in the property business for 16 years, having joined the company in 2004 as a trainee negotiator, and has moved through the business now acting as a director based at the Mansfield Branch. Alistair specialises in the sale of development land and new homes forming strong relationships with both local and national house builders. In his spare time Alistair plays at Notts Golf Club (Hollinwell) and always manages to bump into a client or two on the course which he enjoys.
Clare Bradshaw
Senior Sales Negotiator
Clare joined Richard Watkinson & Partners in 2007. Her day-to-day roles include dealing with viewing and valuation enquiries, putting offers forward for consideration, sales negotiation and sales chasing through to completion. Clare is fully committed to her role as a sales negotiator and particularly enjoys the feeling when offers are accepted having dealt with the clients from the start of their journey. Clare is no stranger to moving house herself having relocated 11 times.
Allison Sanderson
Senior Sales Negotiator
Allison joined the company in the summer 2021 bringing with her almost 30 years of experience working in the property industry. She started working in the sale of new homes having worked for a small family house builder then progressing to working for two national house builders, before joining a corporate high street agent in 2007. Allison has a wealth of knowledge and experience in all aspects of buying and selling property. She enjoys being front of house dealing with clients providing great customer service, arranging viewings, negotiating offers and agreeing sales through to completion. In her spare time Allison enjoys the gym and weight training and completed her first fitness competition in 2020.
Yvonne Short
Senior Sales Negotiator
Yvonne joined the company in 2021 bringing with her over 40 years of experience working in the property industry dealing with sales & lettings. She prides herself in good communication & people skills. She is an active member of the Royal British Legion Bikers Branch where she is heavily involved in various charity events. Any spare time she can be found at the gym or on holiday with her family.
Tracey Unwin
Senior Sales Negotiator
Tracey joined the Mansfield office when it first opened in 2004 and has more than 25 years’ experience in Nottinghamshire's property market. Tracey is a trusted and experienced member of the team working across sales, valuations, negotiations and agreeing offers. She has a wealth of local knowledge and understands the industry, enabling her to accurately advise clients. In her spare time Tracey is extremely passionate about football and enjoys travelling abroad on holiday.
