PL Properties have been providing a high quality rental service for Landlords and Tenants since 2008, rebranding to PL Properties in 2016. To date we have set up in excess of 1500 tenancies, with the emphasis on the "personal touch". We pride ourselves on our exceptionally competitive fee structures for both Landlords and tenants, and we do not outsource maintenance or use call centres; everything happens in our office in the Millfields. This ensures that you know who you are dealing with when you call, and the person on the other end of the phone knows you and your property. You do not need a personal property manager because in our office we are all here to deliver you the "personal touch".
The Tenant Fees Act has come into force from June 1st 2019 but we have never charged tenants excessive fees. We did not charge tenants any additional "set-up fees", or for inventories and checkouts. Even following the Act we do not push anyone into a new Agreement at the end of your fixed term (usually six or twelve months), but if a new tenancy is issued for peace of mind, there is no charge to the Tenant or Landlord.
We don't mark-up Contractors costs or charge a Contractor for giving them work, as this only increases the Landlord’s final costs. We believe a landlord has enough to worry about with the cost of maintenance and feel adding to this misery by marking up the cost for our profit is simply not acceptable. We are more than happy to use a Landlord's Contractor if preferred, we do however have reasonably priced, skilled contractors available to us as and when required. Rest assured - if a Contractor was to deliver a poor service or excessive prices, we would not have a vested interest in defending or continuing to use them.
We are always looking to meet new Landlords and tenants, list new properties, and match up perfect Tenants with their perfect homes. Our office is located closed to the City Centre on the Millfields and we are always happy for you to call I the office for a coffee and a chat.
