Appalled at their standards of customer service, he left to run a successful independent agency in Barnes where he fostered a reputation for straight-talking and exceptional personal service.   Cara completed an American business degree at Swansea University in 1998, joining John Thorogood two years later as a negotiator after working in the City. Her committed approach combined with sharp business acumen added strength and depth to the company. Her dedication to maintaining our exceptional standards of service hit new heights when she became part of the Thorogood family, marrying Austin in 2002 and she has lived locally since 1999.

  After a degree in Geography and a career in publishing and marketing, Daphne joined us in 2009 as administrator but her vivacious personality, first-class people skills and experience in property have naturally steered her into the role of negotiator in both sales and lettings. She has a huge knowledge of the area having lived locally for 30 years and, as a mother of three, she has an extensive understanding of the area’s family dynamic.
