Richard started his career in estate agency in 1986, with a corporate agent in the local area and went on to manage offices in Orpington and Bromley. He joined Alan de Maid in 1989 as a Manager and progressed to the role of Associate Director. In 1998 Richard joined Jonathon de Maid as partner at the Chislehurst office and has extended his participation in the growth of jdm. He is also integral to the future development of jdm.

Jonathon started his career in 1979 at Colin Gray in Chislehurst, a market leader in its time. In 1989 he became a local board director of TSB property services where his responsibilities included expansion and marketing. In 1996 he started jdm Estate Agents with wife Margaret & brother Jeremy. Jonathon has been instrumental in the growth of jdm to five residential branches incorporating Lettings, New Homes and strategic Land Management.
