Our History Homematch was established by Lynda in August 2005. Lynda Martin (Managing Director) Started her working life as an assistant to the finance director in one of Nottingham’s largest skip hire and disposal companies. She then moved to a small flooring contracting company which she helped develop into probably the largest in the Midlands with a £5.5 million turn over. Employed as Company Secretary/Accountant, in the early stages she combined these jobs with developing the computer and telephone network, human resources and health and safety until the company grew large enough to employ others in the management team. In the meantime she brought up two boys and studied and passed half her CIMA accountancy exams. She has over 27 years experience of property management. Private landlord & Portfolio holder. She has also administered a company SAS (Small Self Administered Pension Fund – Property portfolio) along side this, more recently managing property development After a short sabbatical, mixing in the music industry and then a spell in reviving a computer company for the owners due to critical illness, she achieved her ambition to build an agencythat is about fairness & matching tenants to homes.
Jonathan Martin (Techincal Director) After studying and graduating with a degree in Electrical & Electronic Engineering from the University of Nottingham, he moved into the IT sector. He has 11 years experience of IT, working in database development and administration, business intelligence, software development and technical support. It is his responsibility to ensure our internal IT Systems and databases operate efficiently to maintain a high level of service to our clients.
