Liphook Office and Area
Set in an extremely visible location right in the Liphook village centre, the office is both spacious and offers a wide frontage that provides prominent and effective property display space visible to both pedestrians and car drivers.
The office deals with all types of properties ranging from flats through to large country homes in and around the village and wider environs, as well a wealth of New Homes.
The “three counties” area is renowned for its beautiful scenery of rich and varied woodlands and colourful heaths rising to nearly 700 feet above sea level at Bramshott. The River Wey flows through the Parish whilst extensive areas in and around the Parish are in the ownership of the National Trust. In addition Liphook and many of the surrounding villages are situated on the edge or within the South Downs National Park.
Liphook has many historic associations; particularly the A3 road from London to Portsmouth. Samuel Pepys records in his diary that, having lost his way in the forest on his journey to Portsmouth to inspect the naval vessels, he arrived at the inn at Liphook where he found there were “good honest people”. The poet Lord Tennyson had his last home at Blackdown, just over the Sussex border, and he frequently walked across to Bramshott, the unspoilt beauty of which is immortalized in some of his verses.
Today, the area offers a good mix of housing, excellent schools for all age groups, a variety of shops including a Sainsbury supermarket. The area also boasts excellent recreational facilities with an abundance of excellent inns and restaurants, health spas such as Champneys Forest Mere and Old Thorns Manor Hotel Golf and Country Estate, and numerous renounced golf clubs such as Liphook, Cowdray, Blackmoor and Hindhead to name just a few.
Liphook Station is situated on the Waterloo/Portsmouth main railway line and the newly improved A3 trunk road is easily accessed at Liphook for journeys to the South Coast, Guildford and L
