Helen is born and raised in the area, starting her career in Torrington over 20 years ago. Helen spent some years as a manager for Taylor's Countrywide in Bedfordshire, before returning with her family to Devon and joining me in 2011. Helen's name is mentioned in virtually all of our customer feedback as her role is so vital and her focus on customer service is second to none. The reason for her success is the rapport that she has with local and national solicitors as well as local authorities and that she ensures all parties are kept up to date accurately and regularly.
In recent years, Helen has helped to establish and run our growing Sales Progression department, offering training, not just for those working in the department but also for staff company wide, in order to ensure that the customer experience is seamless and delivered to the highest standards.

Howards career began in 1998 with Taylors Countrywide and therefore his experience speaks for itself. Especially as he was awarded branch manager within 2 years of starting, collecting various awards and accolades along the way. In 2010 he joined sequence uk Ltd. (Part of the Connels Group) to run an already successful Buckinghamshire office, but not content, he took the office to record profit, again, winning several awards for customer service along the way.
No stranger to North Devon as he and his family have been visiting for many years, the promise he and his wife had made to themselves to relocate to this beautiful part of the country came to fruition, and we were very pleased to have him join us here in Great Torrington. There is no doubt his clear customer focus will help us grow. The real motivation for the move was to gain a better way of life and a better upbringing for their children. There seems no hesitation there either as they have been snapped sledging down sand dunes at Crowe Point (definitely something we all want to try now), and walking the family dog in all manners of unpleasant weather for up to 5 miles at a time! - clearly a very motivated team member.

With his mother and father both having been estate agents, it appeared inevitable that Mark would follow in their footsteps. After developing his own passion for property, he took his first position in the family trade shortly after leaving school, working in the counties of Surrey, Hampshire and Berkshire. He later worked on the continent, before finding the perfect place to put down roots in beautiful Devon.
After working at our busy Barnstaple branch, Mark was offered the opportunity to manage the Torrington Branch. Subsequently, he became a partner in both the Torrington and Okehampton branches.
Mark's business model is to remove all the bad elements he has observed during his time in the industry to date and to highlight the good aspects. He combines modern and traditional marketing techniques to make us a refreshing and individual agency to work with.
